3. Take a pottery/ crotchet class, anything that can build your hand dexterity
Dentistry is 50% academics and 50% hand skills, dental schools want to know that you have good hand dexterity and can pay attention to fine details.
4. APPLY EARLY !!!
Start working on your applications as early as possible especially because schools take a while to submit your transcripts and letters of recommendation to your dental programs.
5. Go to Impression’s Day at different dental Schools.
Impression’s day is a great way to get a glimpse of what dental school is like. It’s also a great way to network so that when application time comes, the school is familiar with your name.
